Ian Samuels

Ian Samuels is an American film director and writer known for his work in the young adult genre. He directed the Netflix original film Sierra Burgess Is a Loser (2018), a modern retelling of the Cyrano de Bergerac story. Samuels has also directed short films such as Myrna the Monster (2015), which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival.
