Modern Explorers(2017)

Synopsis

I'm on the second episode, struggling. Most of the athletes that appear in the series speak very poor English, which makes it extremely strenuous to follow the narrative after a few minutes. They are also unable to convey what they are feeling in English, and this further impoverishes the narrative. Many scenes are rehearsed and completely inauthentic. It sounds like it was supposed to be a fun adventure, but it falls short most of the times. I don't know who sponsors this series, but it was supposed to be taken more seriously. Some cool base jumping and wingsuit scenes, but there's a lot better on YouTube, and without the rehearsed scenes. In general, I would only recommend for enthusiasts of the sport, and even they might not like it.(English)
