Son of the Swordsman(1970)

Synopsis

If you have seen Joseph Kuo's King of Kings (1969), then you are familiar with Peter Yang. He's the lead actor and he has a serious edge to him. Without a doubt Peter Yang was one of the greatest actors in kung fu cinema history. In this movie he plays the son of a swordsman that gets killed, and then he goes to take revenge. Ya didn't see that plot coming did you? The movie is not that good, but there are 2 things that stand out. Peter Yang's acting, and a few well staged fights. The best advice I can give you is to check out King Of Kings instead of this movie. King of Kings is superior in every way. But if you have seen King of Kings and you are a big fan of this lead actor Peter Yang, then that is the only way I can recommend this movie.Picture quality on the Crash Cinema DVD is average at best, but not bad for a movie from 1969. Pretty much all of the burnt on subtitles can be read.(English)
