The cheapest streaming bundles in the UK for 2026
Last reviewed: 7 May 2026.
UK streaming bundles fall into three categories. There are operator bundles -- Sky and NOW packaging Netflix, Paramount+ or HBO Max alongside their own content. There are channel-add bundles -- Prime Channels and Apple TV Channels letting you tack a streamer onto an existing subscription with a single bill. And there are mobile and broadband bundles, where Vodafone, EE and others throw a streamer in with a phone or fibre line.
This guide walks through what is genuinely worth bundling in 2026 and where you save versus paying for each service separately.
What an "average" UK streaming bill actually looks like
Stacked at full retail, the major paid streamers cost the following per month in the UK in May 2026:
- Netflix Standard: GBP 12.99
- Disney+ Standard: GBP 9.99
- Prime Video (included with Amazon Prime): GBP 8.99 / month or GBP 95 / year
- Apple TV+: GBP 8.99
- Paramount+ Standard: GBP 7.99
- HBO Max Standard ad-free: GBP 9.99
- NOW Entertainment: GBP 7.99
- NOW Cinema: GBP 9.99
- NOW Sports (full): GBP 34.99
Subscribing to all of those at full retail rates costs over GBP 110 a month -- nearly the cost of a Sky package on its own. Most households do not subscribe to all of them at once, and the bundles below exist to bring the total down for households that want more than two or three.
Sky and NOW bundles
Sky owns NOW (formerly NOW TV), and the two are now run as a single Warner Bros. Discovery / Comcast joint product line in the UK. The bundles worth knowing about:
NOW Entertainment + HBO Max -- GBP 9.99 / month
Combines the existing NOW Entertainment pass with HBO Max. NOW Entertainment carries Sky Atlantic, Sky Comedy, Sky Max and the Sky Originals catalogue. HBO Max adds The Last of Us, Succession, House of the Dragon and the rest of the Warner Bros. Discovery library.
Versus paying NOW Entertainment (GBP 7.99) plus HBO Max Standard (GBP 9.99) separately for GBP 17.98 a month, the bundle is GBP 7.99 a month cheaper. This is the standout 2026 bundle for prestige drama.
Sky Stream + Netflix
Sky Stream is Sky's puck-style streaming box (no dish required) and includes Netflix Standard with Ads in the base subscription. Households moving from Sky Q to Sky Stream often see the Netflix bill disappear from their separate streaming spend without realising it is rolled in. The current entry price for Sky Stream with Netflix bundled is around GBP 26 a month for the first 18 months on a typical contract.
NOW Sports
Genuinely the cheapest legal route to Sky Sports content. A monthly NOW Sports membership at GBP 34.99 covers all 12 Sky Sports channels with no contract. A 24-hour day pass is GBP 14.99 -- not cheap per day, but unbeatable if you only want to watch one specific match. Sky's full Sports package on contract starts higher than the monthly NOW pass and locks you in for 18 months, so NOW Sports remains the better choice for casual or seasonal sports viewing.
Prime Channels
Amazon Prime Channels lets you add a streaming service onto your existing Prime subscription with a single bill, single login and unified watch list. The streamer's content shows up alongside Prime Video originals and rentals. UK Prime Channels in 2026 include:
- Paramount+ -- typically discounted from the standalone price
- Discovery+ -- entertainment plus selected sport
- Apple TV+ -- via Prime Channels in some regions
- Lionsgate+, MGM+, Shudder, Mubi, BFI Player and assorted boutique services
Prime Channels does not bundle multiple streamers into a discounted package -- it is a single-add subscription mechanism. The savings vs paying separately are usually GBP 1 to GBP 3 a month per channel, plus the convenience of one bill. The catch is that each Prime Channel is its own subscription and requires Prime membership underneath (GBP 8.99 / month or GBP 95 / year, billed separately).
Mobile and broadband bundles
The UK mobile and broadband market includes streaming as standard on several plans:
- Vodafone Entertainment -- pay-monthly Vodafone customers can add Disney+ Standard or Apple TV+ to their plan at a discount; specific eligibility depends on the underlying tariff.
- EE TV -- EE includes NOW or other selected streamers depending on plan tier and contract length.
- Sky Mobile + Sky Stream -- bundled discounts when you take both from Sky.
- O2 Priority -- occasional Disney+ and Prime offers as time-limited add-ons rather than ongoing bundles.
Mobile and broadband bundles are worth considering at contract renewal. They are not worth switching mobile network for. Most of the savings are time-limited (six or 12 months), and the fine print usually returns the streamer to full price after that.
Student and youth pricing
Two consistent youth offers exist:
- Amazon Prime Student at GBP 4.49 a month (or GBP 47.49 a year) for 18 to 22-year-olds with a valid academic email -- 50 per cent off standard Prime.
- Spotify Student bundle with Hulu -- not directly relevant in the UK because Hulu is a US service, but the standalone Spotify Student tier includes audiobooks and is GBP 5.99 a month.
There is no Netflix or Disney+ student tier in the UK. The basic-tier "Standard with Ads" plans (GBP 5.99 each) are often the closest equivalent.
What to actually do
For most UK households, the maths works like this:
- Start with the free public-service streamers. These cover a substantial proportion of what households watch and cost nothing.
- Add one paid streamer based on what you actually want to watch. For most households this is Netflix or Disney+.
- If you watch prestige drama (Succession, The Last of Us, Game of Thrones rewatches), the NOW Entertainment + HBO Max bundle at GBP 9.99 is the strongest single-bill deal in UK streaming in 2026.
- Use Prime Channels for one-off "I want to watch one show on this service" months. Cancel between months when you have nothing on the service.
- Treat NOW Sports as a per-event purchase -- day passes for big matches, monthly for an active sports season.
The biggest win is not finding the cheapest bundle -- it is cancelling subscriptions you do not actively use. Audit your current streaming costs before signing up to anything new.
Frequently asked questions
What is the cheapest way to watch HBO Max in the UK?
The NOW Entertainment + HBO Max bundle at GBP 9.99 a month is the cheapest legitimate route. It is GBP 7.99 a month less than buying NOW Entertainment and HBO Max Standard separately, and undercuts standalone HBO Max Standard (also GBP 9.99) by including all of NOW's content as well.
Does Amazon Prime include Disney+ in the UK?
No. Disney+ is not available as a Prime Channel in the UK, and Amazon Prime membership does not include a Disney+ subscription. Disney+ is sold direct through disneyplus.com or as part of Vodafone Entertainment plans.
Can I get Netflix free with anything in the UK?
Sky Stream subscribers receive Netflix Standard with Ads as part of the package; this is the closest thing to "free Netflix" in the UK, but the Sky Stream contract still costs around GBP 26 a month or more. There is no genuine free-with-something Netflix offer in the UK in 2026.
Are streaming bundles worth it?
For households that already want two or more services in the bundle, yes -- typically saving GBP 5 to GBP 10 a month over paying separately. For households that only want one of the services in a bundle, no -- you are usually paying for content you will not use.
How do I cancel a Prime Channel?
Prime Channels are managed at amazon.co.uk/myaccount under "Memberships and Subscriptions". Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle, and you keep access until that date. There is no early-cancellation fee.
What is the difference between NOW and Sky?
Sky is Sky Group's full TV product (dish, contract, full channel package, sometimes broadband and phone). NOW is the contract-free streaming version of Sky's content -- the same channels and shows, no dish, no long-term contract, billed monthly. NOW is cheaper but does not include some of the live sport coverage Sky's contract customers get and has no Sky Q-style PVR.
