Alfonso Brescia was an Italian film director and screenwriter, recognized for his work in various genres, including science fiction, peplum, and Spaghetti Westerns. He began his career in the 1960s, directing films such as The Magnificent Gladiator (1964) and The Conqueror of Atlantis (1965).
